Day 1
Arrival to Helsinki and drive by rental car to Asikkala (about 140 km). Accommodation in a cosy log cabin / villa by Lake Päijänne or by Lake Vesijärvi. Days 4-5
From Lahti to Joensuu it takes around four hours by car. In Joensuu you can visit the historical Local Art & Craft Centre Taitokortteli and its several boutiques. If you want to dive deeper into art and history, there are Joensuu Art Museum Onni and North Karelian Museum Hilma just next to Taitokortteli. Nature lovers can visit Kuhasalo Nature Trail and Utransaari Islands.Taste local flavors either in Restaurant Kielo or Bistro Heili and overnight in Karelian styled Original Sokos Hotel Kimmel or Lietsu Boutique Aparthotel.

Day 7
After breakfast, drive to Tampere via Petäjävesi and Mänttä-Vilppula. In Petäjävesi you can visit one of Finland’s seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Petäjävesi Old Church. The mysterious Petäjävesi Old Church was listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1994, as a unique example of traditional Nordic wooden church architecture and log construction. The appearance of the church has remained nearly unchanged which will take you on a journey back in time.
In Mänttä-Vilppula you can visit Serlachius Museum Gösta with the pearls of Finnish paintings and great works of international and national contemporary art! Enjoy a delicious lunch at restaurant Gösta. After your visit, drive to Tampere and stay a night, for example, at Courtyard by Marriott Tampere City Hotel.

Tampere Region
Day 8
After breakfast, a day is easily spent in Tampere. Tampere offers many attractions and activities, like day spa treatments or guided nature activities, for example kayaking.
Finlayson and Tampella areas are industrial heritage sites packed with history, culture and innovation. They offer various restaurants, cafés, businesses and cultural services.
Alternatively you can visit the recreational area of Pispala and Pyynikki Observation Tower. Tampere also has another tower, Näsinneula Observation Tower. The tallest building in Finland is located at Särkänniemi Amusement Park.
A nice attraction to visit is the world’s only Moomin Museum at Tampere Hall. A perfect summer day in Tampere is crowned by a lunch cruise on Lake Pyhäjärvi.

Häme Region
Day 9
After breakfast, drive to Hämeenlinna. Spend a fun day in Ahvenisto Nature Reserve swimming in clear water of Lake Ahvenistonjärvi or in the open air pool. You can also rent a sup board or a bike and enjoy the nature paths around Ahvenisto or try traditional sauna. Taste the local food and enjoy the rural scenery in the local farm Tiirinkoski Factory. Later you can enjoy water activities in the center of Hämeenlinna by stand up paddling or wakeboarding in Lake Vanajavesi.
