Discover three beautiful lakes and two fascinating canals on a scenic cruise between Lahti and Heinola! Aboard m/s Suomen Neito, travel through Lake Vesijärvi, Lake Päijänne and Lake Ruotsalainen, experiencing the unique lock passages of Vääksy and Kalkkinen along the way.

At historic Vääksy Canal, people often gather to watch the ship pass through the narrow lock, exchanging cheerful waves with passengers on deck. At Kalkkinen, the experience is quite different: the impressive lock is nearly 500 metres long, with space for other boats to pass through the lock alongside Suomen Neito. Two canals, two very different experiences!

Make the journey your own: enjoy the full-day round trip, travel one way, or choose a shorter section such as Vääksy–Heinola–Vääksy. You can also bring your bicycle on board for an additional fee and combine the cruise with a cycling adventure.

Enjoy a generous lunch buffet prepared in the ship’s own kitchen with Finnish flavours and local ingredients, available by advance reservation on both outbound and return journeys.
