Day 1
Overnight for two nights in some of the following accommodations: GreenStar Hotel Lahti, Solo Sokos Seurahuone, Mukkula Manor or EnjoyNature Bed and Breakfast. If you prefer a smaller place over a city, head straight to Sysmä (80 km from Lahti) and stay overnight in unique Ilola Inn or privately owned cabins, Tervalepikon Torpat.

Day 3
Departure from Lahti region to Koli National Park, which is the official Finnish National landscape and one of the most famous attractions in Finland and North Karelia. The landscape has been an inspiration for several artists, like Jean Sibelius and Eero Järnefelt. Overnight for two nights either on the top next to the Koli Hills in Break Sokos Hotel Koli or in Koli Village in brand new Break Sokos Hotel Koli Kylä. From the Koli Relax Spa you can enjoy the views of Lake Pielinen.

North Karelia Region
Days 4-5
Freetime to explore Koli National Park with a guide or do a self-guided tour to Ruunaa Hiking Area. Ruunaa is 1,5 hours drive-away from Koli and it has stunning whitewater rapids and versatile nature trails both for hiking and biking. There are also great surroundings for fishers. Overnight again in Koli. For a longer stay there is White Summer Days and Nights in North Karelia tour providing program in Koli, Joensuu and Nurmes regions.

Jyväskylä Region
Day 5
Arrival to Laukaa, Jyväskylä Region by car. Enjoy the pure and silent countryside, relax in the sauna and get ready for the next day of activities in Jyväskylä Region. Spend the night either in Spa Hotel Peurunka or Varjola Resort located in the milieu of Finnish countryside.

Day 6

Tampere Region
Day 7
The drive to Tampere (about 180 km) takes around 2,5 hours without stops or other visits. In Tampere, you can overnight for example in the cosy Dream Hostel near Tampere Hall or in the atmospheric boutique hotel Original Sokos Hotel Villa close to the Railway Station.
Later on, you can explore the city on your own. You can also start your day with a truly unique experience where you can see Tampere from a completely new perspective – Roof Walk at the historical Finlayson factory area right by Tammerkoski rapids! Two different routes on top of the city include stunning sights and historical stories.

Tampere Region
Day 8
There are two big national parks in the vicinity of Tampere: Seitseminen and Helvetinjärvi.
Seitseminen national park is located in Ruovesi, about 50 kilometers from Tampere. If this is your first trip to Seitseminen, it’s worthwhile to start your visit at the Seitseminen Nature Centre, where you can get information about the park and the trails.
Quite close to Seitseminen and also some 50 kilometer from Tampere you can find Helvetinjärvi national park. What makes Helvetinjärvi a really interesting place to visit are the gorges, which have been dominating the landscape for millions of years.

Häme Region
Day 9
Visit Aulanko Nature Reserve, see the beautiful national landscape from Aulanko Tower and enjoy a cup of coffee at the cozy Aulanko Tower cafeteria. Get to know the Hämeenlinna city nature stand up paddling through Lake Vanajavesi. Meet the locals at their favorite spot in Ahvenisto Outdoor and Nature Reserve with a lot of nature activities. Stay the night in privately owned guesthouse Myllytalo or a spa hotel Scandic Aulanko.

Häme Region
Days 10
After breakfast, transfer to Tammela. Get to know the two very different National Parks next to each other. Walk through Torronsuo National Park over the Finland’s deepest bog along the duckboards. Visit beautiful Liesjärvi National Park and hike along the ridge between two lakes. Spend time at Korteniemi Heritage Farm and find out how people used to live at farms in Finland. Spend a night in Eerikkilä Sports and Outdoor Resort in Tentsile or luxurious Villas.
