Day 1
Arrival to the Jyväskylä Region in Saarijärvi (66 km north from Jyväskylä). Stay overnight in charming B&B Ruustinna.

Day 2
After breakfast explore the Pyhä-Häkki National Park that is known for its ancient pines, some that are hundreds years old. Pyhä-Häkki is the oldest of the Jyväskylä Region’s national parks and enduring favorite with its easily traversed pathways.
After exploring the national park, drive 90 km to Kinnula from Saarijärvi. Karkausmäen Kammari in Kinnula offers accommodation in a beautiful scenery by a lakefront. After a day of activities, you can relax in a traditional Finnish sauna and listen to the nature sounds by a fire at the ‘laavu’ (lean-to).

Day 3
After Breakfast head out to Salamajärvi National Park, the southernmost forest and peatland wilderness area in Finland. The park’s landscape features extensive peatland meadows, atmospheric old-growth forests and steep blockfield cliffs. Salamajärvi is also home to forest reindeers, which are a rare sight elsewhere in Finland.
After exploring the national park, drive to Kannonkoski (50 km from Salamäjärvi National Park) and stay overnight at Piispala. Piispala is a holistic wellbeing centre with great outdoor and adventure opportunities and it’s surrounded by the purest Lakeland nature in the Northern Central Finland.

Day 4
Check-out and drive to Konnevesi (110 km from Piispala, Kannonkoski). Southern Konnevesi National Park charms the visitor with its ruggedly enchanting rock formations and lake scenery. Make a wonderful canoeing trip to the beautiful Southern Konnevesi National Park or join the Scenic Cruise with M/S Linnea from Häyrylänranta Harbour.
After exploring the national park, visit the Häähninmäki lookout tower on your way to Hankasalmi (50 km from Häyrylänranta Harbor). Stay the night in Revontuli Resort – Glass Cabin.

Day 5
After breakfast, drive to Leivonmäki National Park (64 km from Revontuli Resort, Hankasalmi). The trails in Leivonmäki National Park are suitable for nature lovers of all ages and abilities. Visitors with disabilities and children in prams have also been taken into account, since one of the park’s trails and rest stops is barrier free. The park’s varied landscapes can be enjoyed on foot or by riding along one of the mountain bike trails.
After exploring the Leivonmäki National Park, drive to Helsinki Airport (230 km) or stay overnight in LomaLeivo cottageslocated near the Leivonmäki National Park.
