Canoe tour in Leivonmäki National Park

About the event

Meeting: 10:00 at Harjunlahti beach
Itinerary:
– Paddling basics and safety
Before we start, the guide will teach you paddling techniques and cover safety instructions. You can join the tour even if you have no previous experience with paddling, everyone is welcome.
– Paddling on Lake Rutäjärvi
After the introduction, we’ll get on the canoes and explore what Lake Rutäjärvi has to offer!
– Lunch break
At some point, we’ll stop to stretch our legs, do some woodwork and refresh ourselves with a meal.
– Portage
During the tour, we may also experience „portage.“ It means that we will carry the canoes on land between two bodies of water, much like wilderness explorers did in the past.

End of the tour: At approximately 18:00, Harjunlahti beach
