Tampere Region
Day 1
In Tampere, you can overnight in Solo Sokos Hotel Torni Tampere. Being one of the tallest buildings of the city, it represents modern architecture and offers breathtaking views over the centre. After having checked in, you can have lunch in one of the hotel restaurants and then embark on a self-guided sightseeing tour. The tour can include for example visits to Tampere Cathedral, Finlayson Old Mill area, handicraft stores PikkuPutiikit, Old Stable yards, Pispala housing area and Pyynikki observation tower as well as coffee and doughnut at the observation tower café. Later on, you can visit Näsinneula Observation Tower and have a very special dinner at the fine dining restaurant of the observation tower.

Tampere Region
Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel and visit to the world’s only Moomin museum with special themed Moomin Menu lunch in Restaurant Tuhto. After lunch, you can do a tour of design-themed shops in Tampere, including for example Palmroth Footwear and Bags, Uhana Flagship Store Tampere and Pispala SHOP. Later in the evening, you can have dinner at the hotel.

Jyväskylä Region
Day 3
On the way to Jyväskylä, you can drive via Mänttä-Vilppula to visit the Serlachius Museums. Museum Gösta offers memorable experiences to the ones who love art, history, good food and nature.
You can have lunch in a traditional Finnish cottage before continuing to the felt factory and outlet shop “Lahtiset” that manufactures felt boots and to Moose Manor where you can meet a moose up-close. From Moose Manor the trip continues to Jyväskylä. Stay the night at Solo Sokos Hotel Paviljonki and enjoy your dinner by the waterfront at Sataman Viilu, the wonderful sauna restaurant representing modern Finnish wooden architecture.
Or, as another alternative, you can stay the night at the Säynätsalo Town Hall, which is regarded as one of the architect Alvar Aalto’s finest works. The apartments and guest rooms are located in a quiet residential wing of the Town Hall. The peaceful Lakeland archipelago environment of Säynätsalo offers residents plenty to do and experience in a live like a local- way.

Jyväskylä Region
Day 4
After breakfast, explore the museums and sites of Jyväskylä, the capital city of Alvar Aalto’s architecture. The impressive portfolio of 30 locations includes, for instance, the Alvar Aalto Museum (part of the new Aalto2 museum centre), Muurame Church and Säynätsalo Town Hall, which is regarded as one of Aalto’s finest works. The Alvar Aalto destinations, stories, and history are open to you either on your own accord or in a company of an expert guide.
Enjoy lunch at Toivola Old Courtyard’s indulging café and restaurants, shop in boutiques and explore the museum buildings.
Later on, visit the Craft Museum of Finland and National Costume Centre. Exhibitions and events of the museum will take you on a journey through time and show you the many faces of crafts. In the museum shop, you can find a unique selection of Finnish hand-made works.
At dinner time Restaurant Harmooni will serve you a glimpse of the city’s history accompanied by locally sourced and modern flavours.

Day 6
Explore independently or take a guided tour in wooden architecture, including Sibelius Hall, Pro Wood Gallery and Shop. After the tour, lunch at Restaurant Kokka or Taivaanranta. Later in the afternoon, free time to do some optional activities before dinner at a local restaurant:
- Visit at Ski Jump Observation Terrace
- Visit at Lahti Museum of Visual Arts MALVA
- Explore the Mariankatu Ceremonial Avenue: Church of the Cross (Ristinkirkko) designed by Alvar Aalto and Lahti City Hall (Kaupungintalo), a masterpiece of Architect Eliel Saarinen

Häme Region
Day 7
After breakfast, transfer to Riihimäki, where you can explore the Finnish Glass Museum. Have a lunch in Restaurant Obelix Riihimäki before going to Iittala. In Iittala you can go on tour in The Iittala Glass Museum and visit the Iittala Glass Factory and Naive Art Exhibition. Before heading to Hämeenlinna, shop in local handicraft boutiques and Iittala Outlet. Transfer to Hämeenlinna City Center. Tour at the medieval Häme Castle and dinner at Vanai Bistro & Bastu before staying the night in Original Sokos Hotel Vakuuna.

Day 8
Breakfast at Sokos Hotel Vaakuna and transfer to Forssa. In Forssa you can participate in tour at Forssa Museum and Pattern Center, where you can learn about the textile history and explore the collection of printed textile, specially all the famous Finlayson patterns. Experience the old ways of textile printing in Textile Printing Workshop at Rykkeri. Have a lunch at Restaurant Villa before departure.
