    Day 2

Another day, another adventure! Perfect time for climbing in Flowpark Varala!

Flowpark is an ecological adventure park where you can test your courage. Adventure courses have been built on living trees without harming them. Enjoy ropeways, including swaying paths, liana jumps, swings and cable slides. Suitable also for adults!

Right beside the Varala Flowpark, there are canoes or kayaks for rent. So why not head out to the lake for a refreshing and relaxing canoe tour? Or maybe hop on the Silverline from Laukontori quay and head over to Viikinsaari recreation island.

On Viikinsaari island it is possible to rent outdoor games, walk around the nature path, enjoy sauna and a nice meal at the island restaurant.

Smaller children would surely enjoy the city’s free playgrounds. Check out the Pikku Kakkonen playground in Koskipuisto park or Tittytumpkin’s Fairytale Park and Playground in Näsinpuisto. There are also several museums offering experiences for children.

    Day 3

Himos Holiday Resort lies in the heart of Lakeland Finland, halfway between Tampere and Jyväskylä. The surrounding landscape is a picture of rolling hills, lush fields, deep forests, and countless lakes. Known as an international year-round destination, Himos boasts the largest ski slopes in southern Finland and offers a perfect mix of countryside charm and outdoor adventure.

Spend a full day exploring everything Himos has to offer. In summer, you can cycle through scenic trails on e-fatbikes or traditional bikes, rent an ATV, paddle across tranquil waters, try SUP boarding, hike marked trails, or enjoy a round of golf on a full-length course.

Winter brings its own magic with snowmobile rides for adults and children, downhill and cross-country skiing, Nordic skating, snowshoeing, alpine curling, and even winter hiking or biking. For something truly unique, try ice fishing or the thrill of ice floating.

No matter the season, there’s plenty to do indoors too—bowling, padel, golf simulators, gyms, and rally simulators. After an active day, unwind in authentic Finnish saunas, from a traditional smoke sauna to a lakeside retreat or a cozy sauna yard.

Complete your experience with an overnight stay in a Himos Holiday Cottage, where comfort meets the beauty of Finnish countryside living.

For active travellers and families, the nearby Activity Park in Jämsä is perfect for summer fun, featuring a skate park, outdoor basketball, beach volleyball, pétanque, football, floorball, an outdoor gym, a children’s playground and a pump track course where BMX bikes, scooters and helmets are available. Animal lovers will enjoy a visit to the Haanpää Summer Café to see alpacas grazing in the fields.
