The approximately 210-kilometer-long route offers amazing experiences: the sights of the cities of Lappeenranta and Imatra, as well as the charming villages of Taipalsaari, Ruokolahti, Joutseno and Savitaipale. Enjoy the charm of the countryside, step into history, and take in breathtaking views of Finnish lakes along the way.

Along the Saimaa Archipelago Route, you will also find several Saimaa UNESCO Global Geopark sites, offering unique nature and cultural experiences. Those are for example, the Huuhanranta beach, Sarviniemi or Kyläniemi
