Seita’s Tour – Self-Drive Husky Safari in Juuka

Step into a husky adventure that takes you into the heart of winter’s quiet magic, across the strong ice of Lake Kajoonjärvi. This experience offers the thrill of speed, the enthusiasm of the dogs, and unforgettable moments. Two adults and one child can travel in one sled – one drives while the others enjoy the ride. If you wish, you can also take your own sled and experience the adventure entirely at your own pace. At the end, we enjoy a small snack in the heated yurt, and you have time to pet and thank the dogs.

The safari is provided by Wild Wood Husky Oy in Juuka. Please note that a maximum of 12 people can be on the safari at the same time. If the group is larger, it will be divided into two: one group drives first while the other stays in the yurt.

SUITABILITY
Easy – the safari route is about 6km.
Please note that a child cannot act as the sled driver and must sit in the sled with an adult.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED
Warm winter clothing. If needed, customers can borrow an ice fishing suit, winter boots, and mittens from Wild Wood Husky.
