Riemu’s Tour – Self-Drive Husky Safari in Juuka

Set off on an unforgettable husky adventure where you get to drive the sled yourself! Before the ride, your guide will provide clear driving instructions and a safety briefing. After the ride, there is plenty of time to pet the dogs, thank them, and take photos. At the end of the excursion, we move into a heated yurt to enjoy a small snack and hear stories about the huskies.

The safari is provided by Wild Wood Husky Oy in Juuka.

AVAILABILITY
December-March according to the prevailing snow conditions

GROUP SIZE
2–24 persons
Please note that a maximum of 12 people can be on the safari at the same time. If the group is larger, it will be divided into two: one group drives first while the other stays in the yurt.

SUITABILITY
Easy – the safari route is about 2 km.
Please note that a child cannot act as the sled driver and must sit in the sled with an adult.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED
Warm winter clothing. If needed, customers can borrow winter overalls, winter boots and mittens from Wild Wood Husky.
