A magical retreat weekend in the enchanting midsummer nature of Koli. Wild freedom, connection to the body & care for the soul!
The power of the female tribe, the rhythm of the drum, ritual work, the power of ancient tribal rocks and the joy of being together! The vibrant early summer is in full swing. Come by yourself or with a friend to feel the sisterly energy and get to know your own power rising from your body. A soulful and fun weekend renews, nourishes and brings an inspiring touch to the magic of nature.
We approach the wisdom of our bodies through creativity, sensory exercises, free dancing, and cleansing in a sauna. We visit sacred places at Koli, go on trips and hear stories, enjoy the company of spirit relatives and rest on ancient rocks. A wild woman is brought to life in the wilderness in the bright light of the moon, the earth warmed by the sun. She hears her true calling in the cyclical rhythm of the world. In the circle of women, insights are born and life takes on a deeper direction. A garden sauna ceremony pampers the soul and body.
Mattila in Koli is located in a traditional landscape next to Ukko-Koli. We stay in rooms for 2-4 people in a log main house or in atmospheric barns.
The instructor is Meri Mort, who comes from Eastern Finland. Under Meri’s guidance, physical exercises and rituals are accessible to everyone. She is a long-standing teacher and trainer, as well as an artist who illustrates and writes in the light of the moon.
