For those who like downhill skiing, Himos winter sports centre is the place to be. Himos was awarded Ski Resort of the Year 2022 and has the largest ski slopes in Southern and Central Finland. Or visit Messilä, within one hour’s drive from Helsinki, which is the biggest ski centre of Southern Finland. Kontiolahti in North Karelia is the internationally renowned biathlon centre.
