Snow shoe safari in Pyhä-Häkki National Park

This magnificent wilderness experience departs from out base camp, the Tavinsulka Aquatic Sports Centrum in Jyväskylä. Timetable varies with the season. After equipment check-up a good one hour of drive across wintry landscapes to Pyhä-Häkki National Park. Welcome presentation and briefing upon arrival, while a small snack is served. During the winter, snow cover allows us to go off-path route and see sceneries otherwise hidden from the visitors. Route is chosen for each tour to see the most beautiful parts of the park. At the Kotajärvi campfire we enjoy a delicate lunch and a rest.
Participation fee includes guide, snowshoe, snacks, lunch and transport from/to JKL.
We recommend layered clothing, according to the weather. Put on boots, which cover your ankle. Bring a day-backpack for seating pad (you can lend from us), for our warm drink bottle for during the move and for a spare sweater.
