Visit websiteWe celebrate the opening of the Pienmäki Farm Building Museum’s summer season on 16.6. at 2 pm to 5 pm. The museum is open at 11 am to 5 pm.
Sheep farmer Kirsi Tiihonen introduces visitors to the secrets of wool. The sheep of the sheep farm Villa Niemelä take care of the valuable cultural environment of Pienmäki again this summer, and of course delight museum visitors. Contemporary folk musician Samuli Korpi lifts the mood.
Samuli Korpi is a contemporary folk musician who mainly composes and performs his music with few-row diatonic accordions. His debut album Traditions?! was published in May 2025. In addition to traditional folk music, his repertoire also includes more modern productions that test the limits of the accordion.
The delicacies of the Hankasalmi’s Martta Association’s café crown the afternoon. Visitors can buy delicious home-made baked goods from the café.
For the little ones, there is the activity corner of the cowshed where children can do handicrafts or get to know traditional games. The activity corner is always open during the museum’s opening hours.
