Visit websiteHeinola’s wooden church is located in the center of the city. The church was built in 1811 by Matts Åkergren.
The missing tower of the church is replaced by a classic-shaped belfry. The belfry is designed by an architect Carl Ludvig Engel and it was completed in 1842.
