Visit websiteOur main exhibition presents Finnish military aviation history from the 1910s to the present day. The objects in the permanent exhibition consist mainly of aircraft, engines and air equipment used by the Finnish Air Force: aircraft from the early 20th century, World War II fighters and bomber, and a variety of jets from the post-war period. There are also four cockpits in which you can sit in.
We conserve and restore aircraft used by the Finnish Air Force, preserving as many original parts and paintings as possible.
The Air Force Signals exhibition sheds light on the development of air defence management, air navigation, air surveillance and radio intelligence tools and operating methods from the early days of the Finnish Air Force until the 21st century.
The museum’s library and archive are available to researchers on weekdays during working hours.
