Outdoor Hostel Laajis

Affordable accommodation with free parking space, only 4 km away from Jyväskylä city center! Our hostel is popular choice in Jyväskylä whether if you arer on a business trip or on a trip with your sports team or a larger group. As the name suggests, the outdoors are literally outside the window! It’s easy to arrive with your own car or with public transport. Lots of free parking space (for busses too).

There are 29 rooms in total (2-4 persons) and 79 beds. One room is equipped with own shower and toilet. For other rooms, there are toilets and showers in the corridor (separate ones for men/women). Every room has a sink and a water faucet. The rooms have a fridge and a television, other features vary room by room.

Every room includes the possibility to use sauna, laundry room and common kitchen. You can also use the hostel kitchen where you can find pots, pans and utensils. Breakfast service for larger groups can be arranged.

Hostel is located among the many activities and services of Laajis. During the winter there are skiing, during the summer there are downhill mountain biking, adventure park and disc golf for example. From the rental shop you can find e-fatbikes and downhill bikes and skiing equipment. Opening hours of restaurant varies during the year. Additionally, Scandic Laajavuori spa is located only 400 meters away!
