Art Gelato Shop & Cafe

In Kuopio there is kalakukko, in Tampere there is mustamakkara, and now in Jyväskylä there is ice cream! Now you can experience and create your own gelato experience!

At Art Gelato Shop & Cafe, ice cream is available for enjoyment on site as well as to take home. The selection includes ice cream portions, cups, gelato cookies, tasting boxes, and warm gelato toast. For takeaway, you can also purchase ice cream or sorbets in 2.35L containers. In addition, we offer savory and sweet pastries, coffee, tea, and refreshments. The treats served at the Vicarage are designed, baked, and prepared with love in our own kitchen.

Art Gelato is produced by Art Food Heaven Oy, whose ice cream factory is located in Vuontee, Laukaa, where Art Gelato artisan ice cream is made. Gelato has been produced there since 2015. The selection includes artisan ice creams and sorbets. Flavors include vanilla, strawberry, fruit-salty licorice, white chocolate–raspberry, roasted butter–white chocolate, mint truffle, lemon-licorice, and more. The flavors of the ice creams and sorbets vary according to the season. The selection includes gluten-free, vegan, and lactose-free options.

Art Gelato ice cream is currently sold not only at Art Gelato Shop & Cafe but also in restaurants and, during the summer season, at the Old Courtyard of Toivola.
