Snowshoeing is an easy and wonderful new way to enjoy winter nature! It is also suitable for international guests who have no previous skiing experience. Many people who have never liked skiing enjoy this! The skis have a so-called skin sole, which, like snowshoes, holds on even on steep climbs. If the terrain allows, it is worth trying skiing first on gentler slopes and finally, as your skills develop, on steeper descents using the so-called telemark technique. Leivonmäki National Park is perfect for this hobby, with easy bogs, ponds, and lakes. If you want, you can climb the ridges to admire the scenery and ski down either calmly or enjoying the speed!

Snowshoeing is a traditional way of moving in snowy weather, used by, for example, Native Americans and Eskimos. It is easy and fun. We recommend trying both snowshoes and kicksleds, for example by renting both types of equipment for a larger group.

Kicksleds are a traditional means of transportation that Finns use in winter, for example, to get to the store. Kickspark is a modernized, sportier, and lighter version of the traditional kicksled. You can use plowed roads, popular trails, and sledding hills.

Versona kicksleds and kicksparks have plastic sliding snow skis, which allow for more versatile use than metal rails. The plastic sliding rails slide more smoothly and do not stop on small stones, etc. The load capacity of kicksleds and kicksparks is better than that of skis thanks to these features. Kicksleds are available in 3 different sizes, and kicksparks are adjustable to different heights. Come spend a fun winter day with friends or family!

Fatbiking is a great way to get around even in snowy weather. In winter, you can use plowed roads and the most popular trails in the park. In spring and winter, when the snow cover lasts, you can ride anywhere and enjoy a truly special outdoor experience.
