The Night of the Book Quarter

The Night of the Book Quarter (Kirjakorttelin Yö) is a unique cultural event and literary festival held in Sastamala. The event centers around the Book Quarter in Sastamala’s historic center, which features six bookstores and the Pukstaavi Museum of the Book within a 200-meter radius. The event is a two-day gathering in early August that connects book enthusiasts in both profound and lighthearted ways. The program includes author interviews, discussions, music, and marathon lectures on Finnish literature.
