Suopirtti Bed & Breakfast – Stay, Relax and Experience Finnish Countryside Calm

Suopirtti Bed & Breakfast is a traditional countryside home surrounded by peaceful fields and forests in the village of Istunmäki, just one kilometre from main road 69. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, shared with a friendly German Shepherd and four curious cats. Here, guests can slow down, enjoy the quiet garden and watch swallows glide across the evening sky.

Accommodation is offered in two nostalgic rooms. The Mummola Room is a cosy 1960s‑inspired chamber for two, decorated with handmade textiles and vintage details. The Retro Room brings the colours of the 1970s and accommodates 2–4 guests, making it ideal for couples, friends or small families. For a unique nature experience, guests may also stay in a Tentsile tree tent suspended gently between the trees.

Every evening, guests are invited to relax in the traditional barrel sauna, where soft steam and the scent of the surrounding forest create a moment of pure Finnish wellbeing. Stepping outside after the sauna, the quiet countryside and fresh air complete the experience.

Suopirtti is located close to Southern Konnevesi National Park, offering excellent hiking, canoeing and nature activities in a landscape of clear waters and lush forests. It is an ideal base for travellers seeking authentic rural charm, peaceful accommodation and easy access to outdoor adventures.
