Suontaust Dog Forest in Juva

Suontaust Dog Forest in Juva offers a safe place for your best friend to enjoy the outdoors. Suontaust is a fenced-in dog park located in Maivala, Juva, covering approximately 1.5 hectares. Part of the area consists of old farmland with spruce saplings, and part is older forest. The terrain is flat and free of ditches, making it easy for dogs of all ages and their owners to get around.

The area is fenced with a two-meter-high game fence, to the bottom of which a mesh net embedded in the ground is also attached. This prevents dogs from escaping by digging, so your dog can safely enjoy its freedom without a leash.

The dog forest area features a barbecue shelter, an outdoor restroom, a wood shed, benches for resting, and dog waste bins. The area will be illuminated by fall 2026 at the latest, making it possible to enjoy the outdoors even after dark.

You can book time slots of 1–6 hours during the day and 1–8 hours at night (10:00 PM–6:00 AM) directly through the Suontausta online store. Please review the rules before your visit and book your time in nature with your best friend. A warm welcome awaits you!
