Panda Factory Shop – A Sweet Stop in Vaajakoski

The history of Panda’s candy production in Vaajakoski dates back to 1920. The business began in the attic of a wooden house in Marjala, and licorice production started in 1927. Over the course of more than a century, Panda has become a manufacturer of products familiar to many.

Adjacent to the factory is the Panda factory shop, which opened its doors in October 1996. Since then, the store has been a popular stop – a great place to pick up some sweet souvenirs or a tasty treat for the road. The factory shop plays an important role in reducing waste, as it also sells so-called second-grade products.

The store caters to anyone with a sweet tooth, but for hygiene reasons, visitors are not allowed to wander around the factory.
