Welcome to the silence of Forest Heart – a space where time slows down, the mind settles, and the body can finally breathe.
During these days, we gently and guidedly explore different depths of silence. The practices support connection to the body and the breath – those inner keys that bring us back to the present moment.
Silence is not emptiness, but a space where everything can become visible. Together we create a supportive and safe environment where we are present – without words, yet deeply connected.
This is an experience of life in its simplest and at the same time deepest form: rest, presence, and inner flow.
Weekly Rhythm
We begin on Monday, July 13 at 16:00 with an opening circle in Karhusali. We enter silence after the first dinner at 20:00.
We spend two full silent days on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday, silence opens and we close the retreat with a shared lunch at 13:00.
You may choose to participate in:
* morning QiGong and meditation sessions
* forest walks
* afternoon yin yoga
* evening lakeside sauna
All activities take place in silence. During the retreat, we are without phones so the experience can remain as whole and undisturbed as possible.
Guidance is in Finnish or in Finnish and English. You may also book a personal one-on-one session with Maria during the retreat.
Accommodation & Food
Accommodation in single rooms at Metsäsydän.
Vegetarian meals (lacto-ovo). Special diets will be accommodated – please mention them when registering.
Facilitator
Maria Talvitie is a yoga and QiGong instructor, forest ecologist, and mother. Her guidance is rooted in calm, presence, and allowing space for personal experience.
