Meeza Restaurant – Levantine Cuisine in Lappeenranta

Discover the flavours and hospitality of the Levant in the heart of Lappeenranta. Meeza is the only restaurant dedicated to Levantine cuisine in South Karelia, offering handmade artisan meze and traditional dishes made from carefully selected ingredients.
Sharing food around the table is at the heart of the Meeza experience. The menu includes traditional meze, kibbeh and Al-Man’ouché with za’atar — an emblematic Lebanese culinary practice inscribed on UNESCO’s Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Lebanese wines, traditional arak and Arabic coffee with cardamom complete the experience.
In 2026, Meeza was nominated for Europe’s Best Middle Eastern Cuisine Restaurant at the World Culinary Awards — the only nominee from Finland among five restaurants selected across Europe. Meeza is also a member of Suomen Ruoka-artesaanit (Finnish Artisan Food Association).
