Majaniemi Cabin

Majaniemi cottage is a hiker’s base in the middle of Southern Konnevesi National Park, by the clear waters of Southern Konnevesi lake.
While hiking the Kolmen Vuoren trail, you can stay overnight at the halfway point, enjoy the tranquility of the national park, and relax in the gentle steam of Majaniemi’s old log sauna.
Majaniemi is also well-suited as a base for boaters and paddlers, with a water route of approximately 8 km from Hanhitaipale harbor. From the cottage, you can also hike the 2.8 km Loukkuvuori trail, which leads to the Loukkuvuori scenic viewpoint.
The cottage has beds and mattresses for four people, plus two bunk beds in the entrance area. There is also space in the yard for camping with your own tent or setting up a hammock between the old pine trees. Pets are also welcome at Majaniemi.
The cottage is available for rent during the summer season, from May 1st to October 31st. The rental period always starts at 12:00 noon and ends at 11:00 AM the following day
