At Koivuranta Farm, you can purchase milk and meat products from our Finnish native cattle, including ice cream, cheeses, minced meat, sausages, and roasts. We also offer local food dishes made from Koivuranta’s own products and those of nearby farms. Welcome to enjoy delicious local food!
Throughout the day, you’ll have the opportunity to explore life on a working farm. Come and meet our friendly and curious Finnish native cows—you can even pet them. Our chickens can be seen in their enclosure, and our cats may also come by to say hello.
We raise Finnish native cattle, and from their milk we produce ice cream and cheeses. Koivuranta ice creams are made with respect for Finnish nature and local flavors. We use milk from Finnish native cows and only locally grown berries. You can truly taste the authentic flavors in our ice cream. Flavors include sea buckthorn, blackcurrant, lingonberry caramel, and blueberry.
Products from other local farms are also available for purchase.
Domestic and locally produced food is very important to us, which is why we want to be part of offering responsible, locally sourced food. At Koivuranta Farm, we raise Finnish native cattle, Finland’s original cattle breed. Our cows live in a free-stall barn where they can move freely and go outdoors year-round. During the summer, they spend most of their time grazing in traditional forest pastures.
In Haukivuori, there are several local producers whose products we also sell. On Local Food Day, we prepare dishes using beef from our own Finnish native cattle along with ingredients from nearby farms. We also offer sweet treats, Koivuranta ice cream, and coffee.
Welcome to experience farm life and taste local food!
