Kide – Outdoor performance stage

Kide (‘ice crystal’ in Finnish) is a outdoor performance stage in the center of Kuhmo. Kuhmo has a lively tradition of timber architecture and industry. Kide references themes related to nature in its form and materiality. With its distinct design, the structure will be used by performers as well as local residents in their day-to-day market activities. It was designed and built by Wood Program architect students form Aalto University. #kidekuhmo
