Kaesan Kotileipomo and Café is a warm and welcoming bakery that cherishes tradition, combining craftsmanship, high-quality ingredients, and the bread culture of the Kainuu region. Every day, we bake fresh bread, sweet buns, cakes, and a variety of other sweet and savory treats – including beloved classics and seasonal specialties.

All our products are carefully made from scratch in our own bakery. Whenever possible, we use local, high-quality ingredients, and our recipes reflect Finnish baking traditions and comforting, home-style flavors.

In our café, you can pause to enjoy freshly baked delicacies, good coffee, and a relaxed, unhurried atmosphere. In addition to sweet pastries and our homemade gelato, we offer savory options as well as custom-made cakes and baked goods for celebrations and special occasions. Authentic Kainuun Rönttönen pastries are a must-try at least once when visiting Kuhmo! From Kaesa’s kitchen menu, you will find daily options for both light bites and heartier meals, and our spacious upstairs facilities can also be adapted for private dining events.
