Paddling from the Petkeljärvi National Park and lake, along the Russian border, to the wilderness lake Koitere, with hundreds of islands, via Koitajoki and ending up to the narrow sympathetic river Syväysjoki… this route takes you on a trip of a lifetime! On this 105km long trip, you get to enjoy the safety, clean air and crystal clear waters of Finnish nature.

Koitajoki is an easy paddling river, but you will get some thrilling moments when passing through the rapids.

With our self-guided paddling packages it is easy for you to enjoy nature on your own; just arrive with basic outdoor supplies (suitable clothing, food supplies etc) and and we’ll take care of everything else, allowing you to experience a successful and relaxing trip in our beautiful nature.
