Visit websiteArboretum Frick is a splendid natural attraction in the Liuksiala area of the town Kangasala. In this beautiful three-hectare park and forest, you can explore a diverse world of plants and enjoy the peace and ambiance of nature.
The area boasts not only 260 tree species but also 300 species of shrubs from all continents. As you walk along paved paths, you can explore and admire various growing environments and landscapes. Early summer offers a riot of colors with over 900 rhododendrons and azaleas. There are also rose gardens, a water garden, a magnolia garden, and various themed gardens awaiting visitors in the park. During your walk, you can indulge in refreshments at the Rose Tree Café.
Erkki Frick began building the park 40 years ago. Now, the breathtaking beauty of this forest garden offers inspiration for your own garden plans.
If you want to learn more about plants and gardening, consider joining a guided tour. The mysteries of Arboretum Frick’s enchanting garden will be revealed during the tour, which you can attend alone, with others, or as part of a group.
In 2024, Arboretum Frick is open in June and July on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays from 12 PM to 4 PM.
For groups, we also offer advance bookings for May and September.
