Participants in the Ulkoilma Akatemia hiking courses receive a wealth of useful information on hiking gear, map and compass use, and camp routines. In addition, participants can borrow all necessary hiking gear at no extra charge. Access to a wide range of online materials (valued at €79–99). The price of the hiking courses also includes meals for the duration of the course (valued at €27–37).
