Mikkeli Outdoor Park Concerts

Park concerts are a traditional part of Mikkeli summer. These concerts are a showcase of Mikkeli area choirs, orchestras and other artists, with a scattering of visiting artists from elsewhere. The majority of concerts take place in Kirkkovuori park’s stage, but especially in August there are concerts taking place also in Naisvuori upper viewing platform, within walking distance of Mikkeli centre.

Note that there’s little fixed seating available both in Kirkkopuisto and Naisvuori, so it is recommended audience bring own seats and cushions if they wish to sit down for the duration of the concerts.

The duration of the concerts is usually approximately an hour. The concerts are free to enjoy for all.
