Reconnect with Nature and Rural Life

We invite you to explore the authentic atmosphere of a small rural house surrounded by a garden and a forest, with a well and a sauna in the yard.

These little rural houses, also known as “grandma’s cottage,” are typically small red houses in the countryside, found all over Finland. It is not exactly a summer cottage by a lake, but is usually found in small rural communities.

We invite you to visit the little rural house as well as to join us for a peaceful forest walk, to experience nature with all your senses and to connect with nature. On this nature trip, we are more silent than loud. We visit nature in a way that takes into account the well-being of both the individual and nature.

We go to nature in any weather, so please dress according to the weather. We drink coffee in the warmth of the small house and travel back a hundred years in our minds with the story of the house.

The visit can be accompanied by tree planting following the Love Forest Finland concept, designed in a regenerative way. The rural house is located in a small village called Teväntö (Loppi), an hour’s drive from Helsinki.

Sometimes the simplest moments are the most memorable ones. Welcome!
