Theater Festival Työväen Näyttämöpäivät

Työväen Näyttämöpäivät is a national theatre festival held annually in Mikkeli. Taking place in January over one weekend, the event brings together theatre enthusiasts, professionals, and audiences from Mikkeli and across Finland to enjoy the best domestic amateur theatre productions. In addition to high-quality Finnish theatre groups, the festival also invites third-year acting students from the Theatre Academy to perform their monologue pieces. Each year, the festival features panel discussions and accompanying programme activities.

The next Workers’ Stage Festival will be held in Mikkeli from 29 to 31 January 2027. The application period for performances runs from 1 May to 30 September 2026, and the programme selections will be announced in mid-November. Ticket sales begin on 8 January 2027 at 5:00 PM.ossible.
