On top of Tahko – Observation tower
Year-round open attraction, Tahko observation tower, is located on the top of the slopes and next to Pehkubar. The tower is 13 meters tall and open for everyone.
The top of the tower rises almost 200 meters above lake Syväri and offers breathtaking views. Beside that, the tower also serves the skiers as a start platform for Special slope.
The tower is reachable by car or if you feel like hiking, it has sturdy aluminum-structured straircase and the top has roughly space for 30 people at a time. The changing landscapes of the tower are charming throughout the year and at all times of the day.
