Pisamalahti Hill Fort | Lake Saimaa Region

The Pisamalahti hill fort is located in a rocky area bordered by perpendicular bedrock fracture zones. The hill fort is surrounded on three sides by steep slopes and rises around 55m above Lake Saimaa. In places, it’s almost treeless and eye-catching scarps rise vertically from the water and can be seen far across the lake.
