The Juva Museum is located on the Drumlin Plateau, shaped by the continental shelf, in the main building of the historically valuable Partala Royal Manor. Finds from the surrounding fields indicate that the area has been inhabited since the end of the Iron Age. In addition to the Juva Museum, which tells the history of the area, the courtyard is home to the Juva Karelian Museum, the Galleria Kuninkaankartano and the Juva Truffle Centre.

The museum started operating in the main building in 1992. The museum’s collections include more than 3 000 objects related to agriculture and domestic life and are owned by the Juvan Local Heritage and Museum Association. The objects are deposited with the municipality of Juva, which also keeps the museum open. In the summer of 2016, an archaeological discovery was made in the fields of the Partala royal manor, which was named the Juva Cross. This unique find dates back to the 1100-1300s
