This authentic log cabin offers a quiet retreat on the edge of a small field, surrounded by the forests of Punkaharju. Pets are welcome, and the spacious yard with a small pond makes the setting ideal for both relaxation and outdoor living.

The cabin features a combined living room and kitchen, a shower room, an indoor WC, and an upstairs bedroom. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking, though it does not include a dishwasher. There is also a television and Wi-Fi for guests’ use. Electric heating keeps the cabin warm year-round, and the bathroom has underfloor heating. In summer, the air-source heat pump can be used for cooling on warmer days.

A large furnished terrace opens towards the yard, offering space for meals and downtime outdoors. On the property, you’ll also find a separate traditional wood-fired sauna and an outbuilding with additional sleeping places for two guests.

The surrounding area is known for excellent berry and mushroom picking, and Vuoriniemi’s many small ponds offer good perch and pike fishing. The spacious yard is especially suitable for pets, and a rowing boat can be arranged at the public shore of Soininlahti on Lake Saimaa.
