Stories of the National Park In and Out

The weather isn’t always on our side – but at Koli, it never spoils the experience. If conditions change, the outdoor tour shifts to a cozy indoor visit at the Koli Nature Center, starting with the award-winning Mustarinta – A Film About Koli. The guide shares stories about Koli’s cultural history, geology, and unique nature. When outdoors, the route leads safely to the area’s most iconic viewpoints and impressive natural formations.

EQUIPMENT NEEDED
Weather-appropriate outdoor equipment, backpack and water bottle.
Anti-slip shoe spikes available in winter for an additional fee of +12 €/person.
Raincoats +6 €/person.

SUITABILITY
The indoor portion of the tour is accessible and easy. The outdoor portion is of medium difficulty, including steep ascents and descents as well as stairs.
The excursion can also be arranged so that part of the group explores outdoors while others participate in the indoor tour.
