Ruustinna’s traditional lakeside sauna – authentic steam by the shores of Lake Saarijärvi

From spring to autumn, during the open water season, you can book Ruustinna’s atmospheric lakeside sauna for private use. The sauna accommodates up to 7 people at a time and offers a peaceful setting for relaxation by the shores of Lake Saarijärvi.

The sauna includes a steam room, washing room, spacious dressing room, lobby area, and a large balcony with beautiful lake views.

At the lakeside sauna, the steam experience follows traditional Finnish style – the log walls of the steam room breathe and radiate warmth, and the water is heated in a classic wood-fired cauldron.

Ruustinna also warmly welcomes cycling tourists. Located near popular cycling routes, the sauna area offers safe bike storage and a relaxing environment to unwind after an active day outdoors.
