Ruokohiekka shelter / rest area

Ruokohiekka shelter is in a beautiful area next to the lake Pyhävesi, 7 kilometers from Mäntyharju center by car. You can get there also by canoeing or in the winter via ice routes. There’s a covered fireplace, firewood, a woodshed and an outhouse. In the winter it’s also a good place for skiing and ice-fishing.
