Visit websiteThe Rönnvik winery exhibitions offer memorable experiences. At the farm, you can explore on your own the outdoor exhibition in the footsteps of Chamberlain, the art exhibitions of the stables or the moonshine pot exhibition.
At Rönnvik’s open-air exhibition, we follow in Chamberlain’s footsteps and learn about the production and history of estate wines in Finland. Estate wines have been made in Finland for over 25 years, and this is the first exhibition to present the matter. In the exhibition built in an open courtyard canopy, you can get to know the history of the winery and winemaking with the help of pictures, sound and objects. The turning point of the Rönnvik farm was in 1869, when the farm passed from chamberlain Karl Schrey to the Rönni family. The opening of the Rönnvik winery was in 1995. In the exhibition, you will get to know the cellar as well as the stages of the Rönnvik farm. Several ghost stories can also be included!
An exhibition of about 30 pots has been collected in Rönnvik’s barn. “Pontikka” moonshine was banned in Finland in 1866. Despite the bans, illegal pontikka was produced up to a million liters a year. At one time, pontikka pots confiscated from the forests were brought to Rönnvik because the farm had permission to store them.
The stable attic also has changing art exhibitions on different themes.
The exhibitions are open in the summer and at other times by agreement. Admission to exhibitions is free.
