Keuruu, located in Central Finland, boasts a delightful paddling route known as Finland’s heartiest. This 11-kilometer journey takes you under 11 bridges and offers a guided tour around the center of Kirkkosaari. It’s a small adventure that typically takes about 4 hours to complete.
Paddling is a great way to get close to nature and above everyday life. Beautiful varied landscapes, clean nature, suitable speed and safe route guarantee that you will have fun. The view looks different from the lakeside. The narrow Ketvele isthmus is the most challenging part of the trip. The narrow isthmus takes you back in time all the way to 1714.
There are many opportunities to land on this ring route. A break can also be taken at the lake, when the ships are made into a raft. At the end of the trip, we raise a toast and distribute certificates of honor with congratulations.
“Katri knew how to take all participants of different levels into account in the instructions, speed, preparation. A relaxed but confidence-inspiring approach.”
You are welcome on the paddling trip I lead, either solo, with a friend or with your own group. Please suggest your own schedule.
A guided paddling trip is safe and offers memorable moments. We can go to the lake until the ice comes. When the water is cold, we can go when the equipment is in order and the paddling skills are good.
Let’s go!
