Ohrasaari – Barley island, Sysmä

Ohrasaari (Barley island) is a small island on the Majutvesi, Päijänne located in the center of Sysmä and close to Sysmä´s medieval church. The island is very accessible to anyone. Ohrasaari offers diverse exercise and outdoor opportunities.

At Ohrasaari there is a 2,7 kilometers long illuminated track for joggers. There is also a 1,7 km long path around the island, a mountain bike route, a bird-watching tower and a disc golf track. During the winter the tracks are for skiers and for children there is a hill for toboggan rides.
