Visit websiteThe Mannanmäki Observation Tower was inaugurated on March 24, 1938, to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the battles of Mannanmäki. During the war, it served as an air surveillance point for the Lotta Svärd organization, which was a Finnish voluntary women’s organization that supported national defense efforts. The renovated tower now features both indoor and outdoor spaces, offering visitors a glimpse into history and breathtaking views in every direction. Additionally, there is also a café.
The tower and café are open during the summer season on Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Guided tours are available upon request during these hours. For groups, the tower, and café services as well as guided tours can be arranged by appointment.
