Koirasalmi nature hut’s beach sauna in Salamajärvi National Park

On the shore of Little Koirajärvi is what many consider the “best sauna in the world”
The sauna has a separate washroom and dressing room, as well as a sheltered terrace from which the stairs lead directly to Little Koirajärvi. The sauna can accommodate approx. 8 people at the same time. Even in winter, it’s easy to swim an open hole in the ice, which is kept open during the winter season.

In the heart of Salamajärvi National Park, at the starting point of the Koirasalmi nature hut’s ring trails, you can find a variety of accommodation options, a hut for rent, a summer coffee kiosk, equipment rental and hiking advice and maps.
