Buy online5-day kayaking tour to Archipelago National park. Price includes kayaks, lifevests, paddles, spraydecks and paddling guide. There are 40 national parks in Finland, and many of them are excellent for kayaking trips. We organize trips to the national parks best suited for kayaking. Each trip accommodates a maximum of 10 participants.
We use single or double kayaks suitable for expedition use, and if you prefer to bring your own kayak, that is also possible. If needed, you can rent camping equipment from us for the duration of the trip, unless you have your own gear. Prevailing wind conditions may cause changes to the route or schedule. The trip may also be canceled if the weather conditions do not allow for a safe trip at the planned time, and if it is not possible to reschedule.
During the trips, we camp in tents at designated camping sites within the national parks. We depart for the trips from Tampere at around 10 a.m. on the departure day and return to Tampere by 10 p.m. on the return day. If you are joining from somewhere other than Tampere, we will agree on a meeting point, the starting location, and the departure time, so you can meet us there by your own means.
The Archipelago Sea consists of approximately 40,000 islands, ranging from small rocky islets to large inhabited islands, with vast open sea areas and island labyrinths reminiscent of river deltas. There are 257 large islands over one square kilometer in size. The average depth of the Archipelago Sea is only 23 meters. It is the largest archipelago in Europe and, by the number of islands, the largest in the world. The Archipelago Sea is home to the Archipelago National Park. The nature here is unique, both rugged and lush at the same time. The Archipelago Sea is characterized by lush ash forests and barren rocky islets. We paddle around the Archipelago Sea, camping on smooth shoreline rocks and visiting small, idyllic fishing villages. Daily distances are a maximum of approximately 35 km.
