The festival program consists of performances from different art forms, meet and greets and discussions with artists. The program is renewed every year – and it continues to be surprising, fun and current. There is a growing number of international performers as well.
Poetry Week is held annually in the beginning of July. In 2026 the festival takes place on July 1–5. The festival, that celebrates its 50th anniversary, is also an official part of the Oulu2026 European Capital of Culture program.
