In 2025 it will be 550 years since the construction of Olavinlinna Castle began in Kyrönsalmi, now Savonlinna. The summer 2025 exhibition “550 years of Olavinlinna in Juva Museum – the time when the castle was built in Juva” tells about the construction of the castle from a Juvian perspective, i.e. how the proximity of the castle was reflected here along the Great Savo Road (Suuri Savontie) and in the life of the Partala royal manor.

In addition to the exhibition “At the time when the castle was built in Juva”, this summer the Juva Museum will host the exhibition “Martti Talvela – opera singer, organic farmer, human being”. The third is the basic exhibition “From town to service town, from church village to municipality”, which is now on show for the third summer in a slightly reduced version.

The Juva Museum, located in the Partala Museum area, is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10 June to 23 August 2025 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The museum is closed on Midsummer Day.

The same ticket allows access to all four sites in the museum area.

The ticket costs € 4 for adults, € 2 for discount groups and minors can enter the museum free of charge. Juva Museum is a Museum Card destination.

The museum site is located at Huttulantie 1, Juva.
